English and ICDLTraining Project for KM Staff
Project Background
Protech to design and implement a training program to enable 370 Kabul Municipality employees to get training in all 7 Modules of ICDL and to achieve certification in a minimum of four modules of the International Computer Driver’s License (ICDL) program. The 370 participants have been assessed using questions similar to those found on the ICDL exams.
The objective of the International Computer Driver’s License ( ICDL) Training and Certification project is to achieve computer literacy among Kabul Municipality employees and enable them to conduct their daily activities on their own. This training will assist the KM in its transition from a paper based system to the era of computer technology to better utilize the citizens of Kabul.
As a result of this training a minimum of 300 of the 370 participants will:
- Have the minimal English language skills needed to operate a computer with an English-language operating system and software;
- Achieve the ICDL certification in at least four modules during the course of the contract;
- Demonstrate that they are using the computer to perform daily tasks related to their job.
In this contract we are providing English for computer training to 370 Kabul Municipality
Employees and also the main task which is to provide training in 7 Modules (ICT, Ms Windows 7, Ms
Word, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Access and Internet) of ICDL (International Computer Driving
License) curriculum for 370 employees of the Kabul Municipality.
